Asheville, NC – It’s that time of year again! Asheville Humane Society’s 20^th annual Dine to Be Kind is taking place from April 1^st-April 6^th, 2025, proudly presented by Fred Anderson’s Prestige Subaru.

Each April since 2005, Asheville-area restaurants have partnered with Asheville Humane Society to donate a percentage of their profits to help ensure that local animals in need have access to life-saving programs and a quality of life worth living. But of course, the last year has been anything but the usual. Western North Carolina is still in the long process of recovery from storm damage sustained by Tropical Storm Helene and we’ve already seen the incredible power of compassion and resilience that emerged between neighbors, friends, and strangers.

That means that this year, we’re doing things a little differently: rather than our partner restaurants donating a percentage of their proceeds for one day to Asheville Humane Society, we’re taking the opportunity to boost the visibility of our Dine to Be Kind family and ask the community to come out and support them as they continue to rebuild. We’ve shown that resilience is about more than just weathering storms—it’s about growing back better and stronger.
