Asheville Humane Society's Community Solutions Program is here to help pets and their people. Whether it is behavior assistance, rehoming services or assistance with low-cost vaccines, we will do our best to provide you with resources and assistance. The goal of Community Solutions is to increase access to pet services and ensure pets stay in their homes where they are loved.

In order to help pet owners impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic keep their beloved pets, Asheville Humane Society is providing pet supplies for Buncombe County families experiencing financial hardship due to job loss or other effects of the current crisis. Pet owners in need of assistance can leave a message on Asheville Humane Society’s Safety Net Helpline at (828) 761-2008 to request resources and get more information about the services that are currently available.
