In honor of October being National Pit Bull Awareness Month, we’re throwing a pit bull pajama party to help educate and change perceptions and stereotypes about bully breed dogs, and appreciate all the amazing pits we have in our community here! This month allows organizations to share the joy and love that Pit Bulls can bring into your life!

All the proceeds from day passes to the bar purchased during this event will be donated back to Asheville Humane Society. Pinups for Pit Bulls and Fit for a Pit will be setting up booths complete with apparel, toys, treats, puzzles, harnesses and force-free training supplies for pit bull type dogs as well as educational material about “bully breeds.”

Not Mild Foods will also be serving up their delicious Asian-inspired hot dogs with their adorable pit, Bowser.

Don’t have a pit? No problem! Bring your pup dressed in their favorite jammies and join the fun!
