Join Asheville Humane Society and Brother Wolf Animal Rescue at ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance on June 30th to get your pet microchipped for free! From 10:00 am-1:00pm, vets will be microchipping animals, handing out valuable resources, and providing a very cute tag that says “I’m Microchipped!”
Summer is one of the busiest times of year for strays in the shelter. From seeking shelter from hot weather to escaping the noise from fireworks, pets are more often to run away. A microchip ensures, that should you need it, your pet will be easily recognized, and reunification will be streamlined, avoiding the shelter altogether. Plus, you gain peace of mind knowing that your pet can be connected to you.
To guarantee an appointment, pet owners are invited to register in advance.
