Are you curious about fostering but not sure where to start? Whether you love kittens, cats, puppies, or dogs, now is the perfect time to learn how you can make a difference without the long-term commitment of adoption.

Join us for a low-pressure, informational Foster Open House at Asheville Humane Society. This is a casual come-and-go event designed to welcome new potential fosters into our community. There is no expectation to take an animal home today—just bring your questions and we’ll provide the answers!

What to Expect:

• Meet Our Team: Chat with our foster coordinators and experienced volunteers to get the real scoop on fostering.

• Behind-the-Scenes Tours: Get a peek at where our animals stay before they find their furever homes. Tours will be offered at 11:15 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2 p.m.

• Get Your Questions Answered: Learn about the time commitment, supplies provided, and how we match animals with foster families.
