Pets don't come with an instruction manual and pet owners often have questions regarding pet behavior. Whether you're a first time pet owner or a seasoned pet parent, questions will arise.
We have several great resources to help!
Asheville Humane Society offers behavior consultations and referrals for dogs and cats
Our dedicated Behavior Department will provide you with resources to address any behavior issues you may be having with your pet. This includes everything from marking in the house to jumping up on guests. To reach the Safety Net helpline please call 828-761-2008 or email behavior[at]ashevillehumane[dot]org.
Behavior consultation is a service of our Safety Net Program. Safety Net's goal is to remove pet care obstacles and ensure pets stay in their homes where they are loved.
