What is something you love about your pet? What else should someone know about your pet?:
Caesar is just a great companion. He loves to play with a ball, meet other dogs and go on hikes. He can be a bit excitable but never aggressive. He's not shy not timid and is quick to be affectionate. He's really a great dog that if it weren't for his own well being I wouldn't dream of giving away. The years he spent with us in the Asheville area he was extremely happy. But since moving back to the Houston area he has developed an allergy to something in the environment. This has caused a chronic ear infection that we are still trying to treat and manage but has resulted in two aural hematomas, one of which has required surgical intervention. I really don't want to part with him but it's not fair to keep him with us in a part of the country that will continue to be an issue for his well being when he clearly has years quality life left in him.

How many hours is your pet home alone each day?:
What does your pet dislike or fear?:
He is unsure about very small toddlers. The only times has even yapped at someone has been when our 18 month old daughter cornered him in a way that he didn't like. Six months later they are not completely fine with each other. He's also routinely had our nieces and nephews (ages 4-7) around without any issue at all.
Where is your pet kept during the day?:
Currently in the house with doggie door access to the yard.
Where does your pet sleep at night?:
In the house, he is crate trained and has taken right back to it as we've reintroduced it since his ear issue has developed.
How does your pet ride in the car?:
Perfectly find for both short and long car rides.
Please list any past or present injuries, treatment or other medical histories.:
He had to have part of his intestine removed at six months because he thought his bedding looked tasty. Aside from that intestinal blockage the only issue has been this allergy issue in Texas.
