DESCRIPTION:Asheville Humane Society is thrilled to join Skyland Fire Safety Day on Saturday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Biltmore Church in Arden (35 Clayton Rd). We’ll be set up with free swag, resource information on adopting, fostering, and volunteering, and — if we’re lucky — at least one or two of our adoptable dogs will be joining us. Because nothing says community safety like puppy kisses, right?\nThis event is all about keeping our neighbors safe and prepared, with hands-on CPR training, Stop the Bleed sessions, health screenings, a blood drive, fire and outdoor safety tips, and public safety demonstrations. But it’s not all serious — there will also be food trucks, vendors, and plenty of family-friendly activities to enjoy. Come learn something new, grab a bite, and then come say hello to our team (and our pups). Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome to join you too.\n
