$5 Feline Event is Here!
Adopt a Cat or Kitten for $5 at Asheville Humane Society June 1 & 2
Asheville, NC - Our $5 Feline event is here! With an overwhelming number of cats and kittens showing up on our doorstep each and every day, Asheville Humane Society is lowering its adoption fees June 1-2. Adopt a kitten or cat for $5, this weekend only.
Asheville Humane Society is open from 12-6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. -6 p.m. on Saturday for this special event. We are located just past the Farmers Market on Brevard Road at 14 Forever Friend Lane.
With nearly 75 cats and kittens available in a variety of colors and personalities, there is a furry friend for everyone. Every cat and kitten will already have received spay/neuter surgery, all vaccinations, flea and heartworm prevention treatment. Microchipping and registration fees are also included. Asheville Humane Society will even throw in a 5-lb. bag of food so you don't have to stop at the store on your way home!

Multi-Agency Effort in Buncombe County Results in Rescue of 19 Cats and Kittens

Asheville Humane Society, the Buncombe County Health and Human Services and the
Animal Control Division of the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office combined professional
services today to rescue 19 cats and kittens

A few-day old kitten is given a medical check-up. 19 cats and kittens were rescued from a Buncombe County residence Thursday morning.
