Celebration of Life: Nancy Hiscoe Clark
A memorial service and celebration of the life of Nancy Hiscoe Clark was held on the building site of the new AHS Adoption and Education Center. People and pets joined together in celebrating Nancy's life.

The Reverend Nancy Hiscoe Clark made her transition Friday, May 23, 2008. Nancy served for six years on the Board of Directors of Asheville Humane Society, including four years as president of the board. Nancy was the driving force behind the new animal shelter and adoption center. We are immensely grateful for Nancy's vision and leadership of this organization and on behalf of the homeless animals of our community.
The Nancy Hiscoe Clark Adoption and Education Center will open in Fall 2009.
The memorial service for friends and their companion animals was held at the new Adoption Center building site.
