Each month we offer hikes with shelter dogs on weekends.
New volunteers should meet at 9:30 AM at the Adoption & Education Center on the scheduled day for a quick orientation. Volunteers who have already attended the orientation can arrive at 10:00 AM. Volunteers fill out an application and sign a waiver prior to departure. Volunteers are matched up with appropriate dogs, pre-selected by shelter staff and Jenny White, the Hiking Hounds Coordinator.
