Each month we offer hikes with shelter dogs on weekends. The hike in October is scheduled for Sunday, October 10.
New volunteers should meet at 8:30 AM at the Adoption & Education Center on the scheduled day for a quick orientation. Volunteers who have already attended the orientation can arrive at 9:00 AM. Volunteers fill out an application and sign a waiver prior to departure. Volunteers are matched up with appropriate dogs, pre-selected by shelter staff and Jenny White, the Hiking Hounds Coordinator.
