In case you're wondering, the answer is yes: these are real Asheville Humane Society animals featured throughout our website. Every single photo is of an actual animal we've saved thanks to the generosity of our donors, volunteers and supporters.
There is no stock photography in this website. We decided to only feature Asheville Humane Society animals because we wanted to be authentic and show animals who have benefited from our lifesaving programs. We also wanted our visitors to see the real faces of animal homelessness and abandonment.
We are fortunate to have the talent behind Pamela Yvonne Photography as well as many other professional and volunteer photographers assisting us in photographing these wonderful, adorable animals. If you're a professional photographer and would like to help us save lives by donating your talent, skills and expertise, please contact Heather Brannan, Manager of Community Programs, by calling (828) 761-2001 x 307, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please help us continue our lifesaving work by making a donation today. The animals will benefit from your generosity and perhaps the animal you save will be featured on our website.
