Adoption Center

Welcome to our Nancy Hiscoe Clark Adoption and Education Center, the culmination of 25 years of hard work by compassionate animal lovers and the generous philanthropy of private citizens!
All animals in our Adoption Center come from the Buncombe County Animal Shelter located next door. Each day we transfer in as many as possible to re-home. In addition to puppies, kittens, dogs and cats, we also offer various small mammals as pets including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, and ferrets.

While awaiting their new homes, animals in our Adoption Center are housed in state-of-the-art condos with plenty of enrichment items including toys, comfy blankets and beds.
Our Adoption Center is a warm, welcoming environment that offers get acquainted rooms and exercise yards so you can visit with the animals that capture your heart.
Our professional Adoption Counselors provide one-on-on counseling so you can select a pet that meets your expectations and lifestyle. We have two goals at our Adoption and Education Center: to save lives and match you with the love of your life.
